For their site, a mix of professional and ‘stock’ images were used. We’ve all seen ‘stock images’ of office workers smiling at monitors.

If used badly, they’re the quickest way to alienate and depersonalise a site. However, if you avoid those with faces, they have their place.

Effective Stock Images

For Ketos, ‘Royalty Free’ stock images were used for the page header images.

Images within a series where purchased, so they provided a unifying look across all header images for the core pages. The predominant dark blue was tied in with the brand.

As shown here, it’s important to ensure any product shots and team photos are of a similar professional standard.
