LAST SUPPER ON THE TITANIC
Why are we so fascinated by the idea of last suppers? And what sets the last suppers on the Titanic apart? Is it that so many died, together, at one time, and that the suppers were glorious feasts – with death waiting in the wings? Or is it that the last suppers on the Titanic are simply a metaphor? Seize the day, and live each moment as if it’s our last?

BRITISH STREET FOOD AWARDS
The prize in the first British Street Food Awards, in 2010, was a mixer. In 2011, the prize was a pitch to trade at the Olympics, and a business makeover from Marks & Spencer. Crowds flocked to Harvest At Jimmy’s, in Suffok, to see traders from all over Britain compete to be the Best of the Best. They weren’t disappointed.

LOCANDA LOCATELLI
This is London’s best Italian restaurant. In true Italian style, it is a welcoming, inclusive place, with Giorgio running the kitchen and his wife Plaxy overseeing the front of house – but somehow it still manages to be enduringly glamorous, and achingly fashionable, all at the same time.

COOK IN FRANCE
Jim Fisher from CookinFrance offers up a fun, friendly, hands-on cooking holiday in the Dordogne where students can soak up the French life — and learn to cook the way they have always dreamed. There’s no washing up (thanks, Liz) — but, oh yes, plenty of wine.

FISHMORE HALL
It wasn’t difficult for the Taster Films team to make Fishmore Hall look gorgeous. This beautifully-restored Georgian house hotel, overlooking the charming town of Ludlow, has unrivalled views across stunning Shropshire countryside. No wonder it was recently voted runner-up in the Sunday Times Best Value Rural Hotel UK 2010.

GOING VIRAL
The internet is a weird and wonderful thing. And, sometimes, it takes something weird and wonderful to capture its attention. This Taster Film rival to MTV’s Cribs format went viral after director Damien Wasylki posted it on his website. PS The young stars of this film are no longer living in this caravan.
